New Arrival In Axfell

J.J. had been on her own for as long as she could remember. She learned to take care of herself at a very early age. her mother had sent her away when she was young because she had seen a growing rage inside J.J. and being worried for the safety of the other children she could not allow J.J. to stay knowing that one day she may harm one of them.. J.J. learned quickly that there were alot of creatures around that would not think twice about having her for a light meal and alot of people who would kill her without a second thought simply because of the color of her skin. She knew about the dwarves hatred of elves but had never been told that she would be hated even more but others as well because she was part Drow something neither her nor her mother had control over.. Her mother had been raped and J.J. was the result of that and that was the reason J.J.'s mother feared for the safety of the children in the village. She knew how evil Drow could be and even though J.J. was part elven she could not be sure if the Drow blood in her child would be stronger than her elven blood.. Smile

After many years of being on her own J.J. had stumbled upon the Axfell Fort and was invited in. She met a giant man who called himself Gunak, another who called himself Karl though she could not see his face and a man called Valentin.. They welcomed her to the Fort and then gave her some gear that would help to keep her safe.. She could not believe how friendly they were being to her, and how they welcomed her into their home without hesitation even though she was part Drow.. She was grateful for their hospitality especially since she had grown tired of being alone all the time.. She was soon introduced to Sir Alessio and after speaking with him she pledged her loyalty to their fort.. to her fort... her new home... Wink

J.J. had been informed where she could train and was told to remain inside the outer gates of the Fort. They knew she was nowhere near ready to venture out that far on her own. So she did various tasks for the people in town, collecting items they needed for their crafting and also helping to control the goblin population around the Fort. After a few days Karl had invited her out to train with him and a few others she gladly accepted as she was growing bored with the menial tasks she had been doing and was looking forward to seeing all the areas around the Fort. She knew at some point she would have to be able to help defend the Fort and the only way she could do that was to train as hard and as long as she could each day.. He brought her to many new areas and then showed her the city of Ranzington.. As she was doing a bit of shopping while Karl went to go rest a bit she was startled by an elf who had been standing a short distance from her. She greeted him and introduced herself, he would smile at her and introduce himself as Thraldur, they talked for a bit and soon others began to appear, there was a grumpy dwarf called Furian and a large grumpier man who didn't really say much and seemed to have a problem with his bracers as he was constantly adjusting them as he stood there, Thraldur would tell her after he walked away that his name is Than, and he could be just as grumpy as any Dwarf.. J.J. would laugh a bit and said she would just call him Mr. Attitude, then she said goodbye to Thraldur because she began to get a bit uncomfortable when more people began to gather around them. She could tell by their comments and reactions to her presence that they were from Cleaven so she headed off to the church to find Karl.. tongue

When they returned to their Fort, J.J. has sold some of the items she had gathered while out training with Karl and then for some reason she began to daydream which she was quickly pulled out of when she was bitten on her thigh by Rugnar, one she would soon learn is a nasty lil dwarf with a twisted sense of humor.. She cried out as he bit her and she yelled at him not to do that again.. She looked over to Karl and she could tell by his reaction that he wasnt pleased with the dwarf for doing that but he remained calm.. In the meantime Gunak had approached and they all began talking about going out hunting, so J.J. took this distraction as a way to get back at the dwarf, she motioned him closer to her with her finger and said she had to tell him something so she leaned in close to him as he neared her and she bit his ear as hard as he had bitten her leg and asked, "how do you like being bitten?" her plan backfired when she realized that he actually enjoyed it which caused her to cuss out loudly in Drow.. She went and stood by Karl just in case the dwarf had decided he might want to retaliate.. Meanwhile Karl and Gunak had decided where they would all go and so they prepared themselves and headed out to train for the day... Twisted Evil

A few days would pass and J.J. was enjoying the time she was spending with Karl, they had been together just about everyday since she met him. He was very kind to her and helped her whenever he could, she knew that he helped all new recruits just as much as her and that pretty much all the people in the Fort helped each other as much as they could.. But the first day she met him she had gotten a weird feeling in her stomach and everyday since then whenever she would see Karl, she would lose her breath for just a moment and her hands would begin to sweat and her heart would beat so fast that it would feel as it was about to burst from her chest. She finds herself thinking about him more and more with each passing day which confuses her a bit because she has never felt this way about anyone in her entire life and she wasn't sure what it meant, but the more time they spent together the more she would realize that she had feelings for this man, very very strong feelings and if she tried to ignore them, it seemed they only intensified.. He started to be the first thing on her mind when she awoke in the morning and the last thing she would think about before drifting off to sleep at night.. Cool

One day Karl told her that ,the elf eating Dwarf Tarus, she had met a few days earlier, had been teasing him about J.J. and wanted to know if she was his. J.J. looked up to him and asked, "well what did you say?" Karl said "well I told him I wasn't sure" then he looked down at J.J. and asked "would you like to be?" J.J. smiled widely as her eyes lit up with happiness and she didn't hesitate to answer him.. "YES, I would like that very much so Karl" was her reply to him.. He leaned in and hugged her tightly then gave her the softest sweetest kiss she had ever felt in her life, which made her heart race faster than it ever had before and her body trembled lightly as the warmth from his body flowed through hers as he held her in a loving embrace... J.J. was happier in that moment than she had ever been in her entire life and was so glad that she had made the decision to join Axfell, for if she hadn't she may never have met Karl.. They talked and promised each other that they would always be open and honest about everything to each other, no secrets at all.. And thats when Karl told J.J. about his ex-girlfriend Myra, and even though J.J. told him that it wasn't necessary since all that had happened before they even met it really wasn't her business, but Karl insisted on telling her because he didnt want her to hear it from someone else.. J.J. thanked him for telling her then she leaned in and kissed him ever so softly as he drifted off to sleep...

Everything was going well for J.J. for quite some time. She was happy being in her new home and she was making alot of new friends rather quickly. A few days went by and she ran into Mr Attitude again this time he was with another man who Than called Alex. J.J. would become a bit concerned as she had been informed that they were two of the best warriors Cleaven had, and she was told to avoid them whenever possible especially if she were alone, she was happy that they were in an area where there were guards so she knew she was safe, at least for the moment anyway.. They talked a bit and then J.J. made her way back to Ranz to wait for any fellow Axfells to come along so she wouldn't have to walk back alone..

Alot of time had been passing and with each day J.J. was seeing less and less of Karl. He told her that he had become very busy with training new recruits and crafting. And for awhile she believed him as she didnt have any reason not to. But more time would pass and she began to wonder what was going on, on the rare occassions that she would see Karl he would barely say anything to her.. Then one day she saw him and he didnt even say hello to her , he just ran right by her as if he didn't even know her, and little did she know that would be the last time she would see him.. In the meantime she had met a Drow named Tel and they had been spending alot of time training together. Tel was teaching J.J. how to stand up for herself and was trying to get her out of her habit of being nice to everyone.. He didn't approve of her being so friendly with the enemy and was not afraid to let her know..

She met Trent during one of her many visits to Ranz and the more they talked the more she could see how unhappy he was living in Cleaven.. She told him if he wasn't happy there then he shouldn't stay there, that he should go somewhere he'd be more comfortable and where he would be appreciated.. Some days would pass before trent would approach her and inform her that he would like to come to Axfell and asked her if she would be willing to help him make the transition.. She said she would and she would talk.;,lclvkmnm, to Sir Alessio for him as soon as she saw him..It wasn't long after that she would be able to tell Trent that he was welcome to come live in Axfell if thats what he so desired and before the weeks end he had moved into Axfell and made it his new home.. J.J. watched him over the next few days and she could see the change in him, how much happier he seemed being there than he ever looked when he was in Cleaven, he seemed to fit right in with everyone without any problems whatsoever and that made J.J. happy knowing that she had helped to change someones future..

The more she went to Ranz the more the Cleavens seemed to like insulting her in some way and this began to take a toll on J.J. she had always tried being nice to everyone and never judged them for where they lived but apparently they didn't think the same way as she did and seemed to enjoy pissing her off, which by the way was not easy to do when she first arrived there.. At first she didnt even realize that they were being mean to her but as soon as she started to understand what was going on, her attitude started to change and her Drow heritage had began to surface. This worried J.J. because she had no idea what was happening to her, why was she so mean and spiteful at times, this was not her, not the way she acted or the way she treated people, but she didn't seem to have any control over it at times. There were two in particular who seemed to get great pleasure in harassing her, so J.J. began to avoid them whenever possible.. If they approached she would simpy walk away without saying a word as to avoid any more confrontation..

J.J. then met Jayson and little did she know at the time all the trouble that would follow this meeting. He seemed nice enough at first and they would share idle chit chat whenever they would meet up with each other.. One day he even showed up as she was training in the hive and scared the hell out of her, she thought for sure she would die right there as she was alone and he was much stronger than her, but to her surprise he didn't attack her, instead he offered to help her finish off the hive, which seemed a bit strange to her but she gladly accepted since she had been having a bit of a hard time with all the bugs.. As soon as they were done he disappeared just as quickly as he had showned up and his only words before leaving were, "thank you for letting me join you and I look forward to seeing you again' and then he was gone.. She wouldn't see him for the next few days although he remained on her mind so when she finally saw him sleeping in the church she wanted to do something nice for him since he didn't kill her even though he easily could have and noone would have even known, so she went out and gathered as many flowers as she could hold and she surrounded him with them, giving him the fresh scent of flowers instead of the usual smell of sweat and blood that filled the air inside the church..

One day while J.J. and Jayson were talking he told her that he thought she was a very pretty girl and a sweet one as well and that he didn't think he'd be able to harm her if they ever met up during a battle. J.J. wasn't sure if he was telling the truth or just saying that to get her to let her guard down. But it wouldn't take long before she would find out which one it was.. One day while returning to Axfell after a long day of training, J.J. and a few others heard the alarms that warned them of Cleavens in their territory, as soon as they reached Rustin Rd. they were met by Than, Myra, Thral and Jayson, J.J didnt have time to notice if any others were lurking about because before she even knew what was happening she was being hit with spell after spell by Myra so she ran toward her to get her to stop casting on her and no sooner she reached Myra she had Jayson and Than all over her with Jayson giving the blow that would knock her to the ground where she would remain for sometime.. When she was awakened and told what happened she became furious and immediately posted a reward for Jayson, dead or alive, though she would prefer him alive if only to repay the favor..As she sat there writing her message for the board all she kept hearing over and over in her head was him,telling her that he could never harm her and this only seemed to infuriate her more but at least she had the answer to the question that has been in her head since the day she heard the lies come from his mouth. She began thinking about all the nice things she had done for him and how nice he had been with her until that day, soon she had so many emotions going through her head that she didn't know what to do. So she kept to herself for the next few days barely getting any sleep all she could do to keep her mind off of it was to train constantly and even then she found herself stopping in the middle of a fight because he would suddenly pop into her head..

Meanwhile, J.J. had been running into Than and Myra more and more it seemed and the words being exchanged between them all seemed to get worse and worse each time.. Than being his usual cocky self would always threaten J.J. in some way and J.J. being the stubborn mischievious girl she is would always laugh and just bug him even more..One day Than being unable to control himself during one of their encounters, grabbed J.J. by the arm and started dragging her out of Ranzington with Myra and a few others following right behind them.. Then Damian showed up and started telling Than he couldn't do this because for one she was a small girl and for two it just wasn't right or something to that effect but him showing up and involving himself seemed to give Than enough time to calm down a bit cause he let go of J.J.'s arm and walked back into the city warning her as he did by saying the next time they attacked Axfell he wasnt stopping at the first gate that he would come through their second gates and he would come for her and when he finally got her he would bury pieces of her all over the lands.. J.J. looked over toward Damian and thanked him because even though she was stubborn and a bit cocky herself she knew dam well if Than had gotten her to the farmlands it would not have been very pretty.... She went back inside the city and waited until a few other Axfells showed up before making her way back home..
