Server stability and the future
We all know that the server has been less reliable than we would like. Currently I am paying 10 dollars a month to have it on a shared host from BurstNet. This means that our bandwidth is wonderful though we have had ussues because other users who share our node have been abusing resources. Our CPU and memory usage is close to maxed on this system. We could pay an extra 15 dollars a month and get a real dedicated host or we could try and host it on someones PC which would give us plenty of CPU and memory but then bandwidth would be an issue.
We will soon have NWNX up and running and will be able to actually see if our mod is putting extra strain on the server. This is very important to help us decided what direction we should take.

Re: Server stability and the future
Again running the mod off a computer at someones house will cause lag from bandwidth issues. Once nwnx is running we will see if there are problems with our module firing out of control scripts which can cause lag. If it is a problem we may be able to fix it and could possibly with some luck have some better stability in the future. If its not causing a problem I would say a better more expensive host is our only solution.

Enable "Enable SubNet Profiling=1", for a guide. It'll produce a log file of all the clients connected (CD Keys, total up / down, average per client and average server total)
NWN bandwidth is extremely tiny compared to most other games, I'd be surprised if a steady 1 mb/s connection couldn't cope.
