Need some helpful information

So, the problem is still going on, where I am unable to get onto DM Client while hosting the server, and when I try to the entire server crashes. And it is also doing it for Rann now while he is trying to get onto DM Client while I'M hosting.

Does anyone have any suggestions at all as to what this could be? I have been unable to pinpoint a solution for the problem searching the web, I've seen others having this problem, but it does not fit the scenarios as when RANN is hosting the MOD he is able to log into DM Client fine as am myself without any problems.

Also, I am able to host the Anphillia Gensis MOD that is available via nwvault and log into DM client with no problems, but with this MOD version I cannot....

I was having the same issue but mine was related to using windows 7. The solution for me was making the executables win xp sp2 compatible and running the executable as admin.

Another thing to check is your client ports in your .ini

Just to give you some more information... The problem occurs when actually connecting, not when loading the program. At least for me. Whenever I try to connect as a DM while Raven is hosting, the connection times out because the connection attempt makes the server crash.

I HAVE been using existing DM toons. I could make a new one to see if that works, but with Raven not at home to babysit the server I'm a little afraid of crashing it and it not coming back up. This reminds me of the time one of the Unty's character files got corrupted from a power outage and caused the server to crash every time they would attempt to log in.

The issue I was having also was only during connecting and as a DM.

Felix if you have Skype and could PM me your name on there that would be great. This way we can get this problem i'm having hopefully worked out sooner. Seems like you have had the same problem and fixed it, so hopefully you could get me fixed up as well!
