Seige weapon = PLOT?

Now I can't get rid of it unless I march all the way to the other faction heavily encumbered and place it? I tried to place it on my own faction seige weapon drop spot but it didn't work.
There should be an dialog option to sell it back to the merchant or an ability to destroy it.
Kinna screwed until then.

There is a way to distroy items.

Need to use the item removal tool... in the craft menu.
