Rebuild Rules?
What if any should we have? Some might have an issue if my level 40 wizard became a level 40 charger.

Re: Rebuild Rules?
I think there should be something of parameters because if I relevel my shifter into a pure druid that would be cutting corners in my opinion since shifters are ten times easier to level PVE

Re: Rebuild Rules?
The parameter I was thinking of would be making the character have to have 25 or 30 of its previous class levels. Example would be a 40 fighter would be able to become a 30 fighter, 7 weapon master, 3 rouge. This would be allowed because the 30 levels of fighter filled 30 levels he had before. Thoughts?

Re: Rebuild Rules?
instead of rebuilds, why not have player's capable of transphering their xp to a new character. Not completely all of it. That way if someone with lvl 40 wants to stop playing their character they can make a new character and get instantly lvl 20 or 25
That way there is no issue with a person being able to throw magic around one day and the next day not using magic at all.
Completely new, seperate individual.
and of course this xp donation could only be done once per character since as sexy menchioned -some builds it's easier to pve... don't want to end up with a player that grinds a shifter up to lvl 40 over and over again to get lvl 20-25ish alts -but the player can always keep the character they drained of xp to re-gain the xp on their own and have two characters. (if they want to bother releveling that character all the way from lvl 5 back to lvl 40 ) xD

I am fine with the xp bank idea as well. I mean not everyone who joins the war has to be garbage and unskilled right?

Re: Rebuild Rules?
Don't do rebuilds.
NWN has been out for ten years. There is more than enough documentation on character building.

This mod isn't vanilla NWN mechanics.

Re: Rebuild Rules?
Too true.
So can I trade in like 4 lvl 10's for 1 lvl 20?

No. The idea behind this is to prevent players from spending a vast amount of time on a character to in the end realize they messed something up which ruins or makes their character significantly less effective. Hence a rebuild will allow a player a one time chance to completely fix what they have screwed up.

Of coarse this cost 20% xp. You can also relvl your last lvl in the barracks by typing /relevel or get releveled at any time.
