Nice Drider??

Tried to smite a drider few minuts ago and failed becuse they dident have a evil aligment!! Tought all driders was evil creature or am I wrong???

Just found out that Driders are created by the drak goddess Lolth becuse they failed a test when they where drows!!! (The Drows had to go trough a special test at lvl 6 or becuse driders). That means that Driders are former Drows that are evil 
... Oh, and driders and druids hate eachother passionatly

Driders don't have to be of evil alignment, though the majority are CE. They're as intelligent as they were when they were Drow, just their physiology that changes.
As it's a punishment from Lolth, Drow hate them (And Vice-versa) however most Drow won't hunt them out, because killing them is merciful. (Unless you look at 4 ED, where it's seen as a blessing. Man I hate 4)
