Server down again

Alright. Looks like these lame griefers have brought the server down again.
I'd just like to let everyone know, that there is an alternative to dealing with the exploits the griefers are using. Please see the following link.

Gee i realy hope this server get up soon again, i thought that my week off work would give me some levels, but now the server is down in the time i would off been on work.
damn jerks that find it funny to ruin other peoples day =(

Yea the server is in some sort of limbo and has been for a while. It hasn't crashed but is unresponsive entirely.

I do run the server on my main computer. So I know when the server is not running. You guys dont need to keep posting that its gone down.

But is the server down, or is it just that i can't see it or direct connect to it? it's odd that there is no one from the server in the chat list, as usualy it's flooded

It's down.
I tried to give it a manual reboot sometime ago, but then the server process just locked up. No amount of fussing with it will get it to work again.
It's possible that the situation will resolve itself when the next automated reboot is scheduled to occur. Barring that, it should go up whenever Snarley is about to take a look at it. Unfortunately, I can't give an estimate as to when that will be. I haven't seen him around much of late, and I don't know how often he checks on the server.
