Server Trouble Log

I direct connect to log in, though I have tried connecting through gamespy as well.

server got restarted randomly at around 7 am gmt for some reason 20 minutes later server died

It reapeared not rest and is now running like junk 7:47 gmt

was ambushed and right before i died was kicked and now it says server timed out for the past 5 minutes...

6/26 12:57 am EST massive reoccurring lag for the past 10 mins.

2:30 PM GMT. About 80% (20 players) of population dropped.

Seems our vpn is having some network troubles today. In the process of submitting a support ticket.

Server was idle tonight and the login disabled. At least that is the message I received after trying to log back in after the server appeared to have crashed.

After the reboot this morning the server was extremely lagging resulting in my crash. Now the server is registering as offline, maybe it is down, maybe it is just my location, I can log on to other servers with ease. I can not log on to Anphillia Genesis.

You are not the only one Ivellios. It's sounds like this is a server issue.

Darn seems some how some apache processes started running and hogged all the memory. I killed them and started the server let me know if your still having problems.

The server has been really laggy as of late. Snarley our linux guru is going to be back from vacation Tuesday and told me he will look into what is going on. I do hope to have the problem resolved tomorrow. Please keep me updated with how its acting. Thanks.

Wont let anyone connect too the server, it times out. As well the serve's ping reads at a -1

Server dropped about 7 people 10:30 P.M. CST - Super laggy as well.

Its horrible. I am still waiting to hear back from Snarley. I have been emailing him. Anyone else that knows how to trouble shoot a linux system feel free to PM me.

I am trying to troubleshoot the problem right now. So just know that I am actively trying to fix this.

Pretty laggy just walking around the fort at 8:40pm EST. Didn't even attempt to do anything 'cause it just gets frustrating.

Well the server has been crashing any time someone logs in. We have been waiting for Snarley to get back to me and trouble shoot the problem. He told me Aug 7th he would be home from vacation on Aug 9th and would look at it but I have not heard anything from him in over a week despite my emails. I am going to give him a few more days then if I don't hear anything from him I will begin to download the server vault and database from the remote server to host on my pc until a viable fix can be made to our linux remote server. I really dont want to have to do this but at this point I have no choice.

Good news Snarley got back to me today. He will be around to help me and we will be working on fixing the problem tonight.

I really feel like play nwn again aswell, been years now since i last played =) saw some other rp servers with a high pop, but i love the anphilia world, and just getting to lvl 20 aint that fun. So i hope this one gets up soon.

I am making preparations to run the server off my computer again since I have not idea what the hell is causing the server to crash on our linux remote host.
