STARTING OFF ON NEW SERVER EFFICIENTLY

Okay, I wanted to start this thread to help the new-comers and to add to the data base of 'help' on our lovely expanding server.




Phase #1

**Starting off: After you level up and grab what items MAY be in the sharing chest, sine only 1k gold is the start off, purchase main item (Weapon for tanks and healing for mages ETC, however you want to spend it). While your near samin, talk to the captain for the first goblin necklace quest, activate it.
If you have any summons they would be of great assistance. Walk to the farmlands and kill the goblins roaming north there. Run back and go gather beetles belly's from the trans out of the gates too the right. Gather the belly's turning them in receiving gold/exp.

Note: From here its personal to what you want to kill from there (Beetles, Goblins ETC).




Phase #2

**Keep Going: Once you have killed the goblin leader and acquired the gold necklace run back too fort turning it into the captain (make sure quest was activated)
By now you probably should have already lvl'ed or are close too level. From all of the belly's gold should be stacking up so you can get the item that best fits your characters needs at this starting point, I advise the obvious stuff like healing potions and kits if you can use them along side the bags of disappearance. They are pricey buy they are very needed in the beginning and throughout the game here. BTW, IF you have 6K and are not monk, you can purchase boots of movement from samin so you can run around 10X speed. And it has unlimited uses. I always Recommend this.


Note: Make sure too grab everything to sell, it all add's up. Make sure too RP with others to ask around for help. Most people are very happy to help fellow Cleavens/Axfells. Usually they will help you get gear/exp if your nice . Keep in mind Summon harps/pipes and books for summons are a great help in the beginning, if you raise enough gold and you can purchase the summon book for the Dire wolf summon. Its pricy but, fighters, and builds who cant use scrolls and such, can rely on these things.





Phase #3

**Continue on : Once you have completed the first quest and purchased or close to all of what you can get for starter gear. Should be around level 5-6, around this time its wise to adventure outside to suman valley, the suman mountain is a great place for exp and the leader there holds the item for the next quest from the captain, which is the Ashes of the running wolf. There is not too many enemies that spawn there at this level but caution should be advised through the area there. Kill all of the goblin riders, the boss is vital target, the pipes of haunting should help you through this, once you kill the leader, take the ashes and loot the chest ( carry lock-picks on you if your unsure you can unlock the chest). Turn the ashes into the captain.


Note: If you purchase the summon creature III book, it has unlock skill on the wolf. Use the wolf to do you locks for awhile until you have openlock or another way too open future chests. ( it has a open lock skill of a 10 which can open most basic chests around fort)
