On the others I must have not had the correct materials however I recall stormbrand and static combining, succeeding and giving no reward for me.. Is this successful failure part of the script? I assumed not to attempt anymore combines when this occurs

Something is wrong it WAS Death's Embrace that failed.

This has cost me much resources in testing and I would really appreciate explanation on how I can expend effort and materials to not get something others can?

Both took materials and gave no items, again.

So it appears that any high end craft other than Tailoring is a void to waste materials on.

I'm sorry...+5 mithral equipment is a waste of materials?

I am speaking of the special materials that are used in specific combines

I also don't consider mithral rings high end.

There were supposed to be two other ores greater than mithral that were removed.

Yes, attempting unique combines takes materials and gives nothing, that is a void.

As far as I know in tailoring Greater White Belts can not be made.
(Maybe the balor's blood which is dropped isn't counted by ATS. Or there is more than 1 place that drops balor's blood.)

It works just fine.

Its a shame Sancho is not around. He wanted to rework all the recipes and such. ATS is just a really bad system not many want to touch it.

Do we have a theory as to why some combines are working for some players and not others?

I love ATS (when it is working) but I can not see a reason to keep broken systems in place.

Special recipes I mentioned worked for me in "past", but I haven't tried them out recently.

I have failed to make Static twice but it said successful.

Any suggestions as to why one can get the result another cannot?
