ATS

seems like skills did not get transfered , it did it get lost?can you see what is up?

I already had to re-get tanning and tailoring once...

If there is a way to give back levels I think I have screenshot proof of the number I had for each.

ATS can be given. It's going to be a giant pain cause I or another DM is going to have to work with you on an individual level to restore ATS.

Unless anyone knows where ATS is stored. Perhaps there is just a file I can send to Raven instead of taking EVERY last character into the Home of the Gods and setting your ATS.

hmmm, sorry to hear about the ATS not getting transferred over peeps.. perhaps those whom had levels lost could (honestly) post it up on here for when Rann or the other DM have time to help you out that way if your online it could be done.

Rann needs to send you the Database folder, which then needs to be placed in the NWN directory of the server computer.
Assuming Felix sent it to Rann to begin with, all ATS should be intact.

But isn't the the current server a clean start?
If not, why are none of my chars there?

The server as I took it was a clean start... the switch to Raven was because of a situation where I can't host right now.

But soon... I will return. Closing date moved to Oct 2nd, so just as soon as I can get internet into my new house!

Alright, in that case you should remove the trigger that checks for the items that the Unty's cheated themselves to.
If it is indeed a fresh vault, then there is no need for them and they are a huge drain on the server.

Raven can contact me with a PM and I will sort this out, either by fixing it myself or showing how to fix it.

Just to verify, none of the ATS skill points will be recovered to this host? If we start crafting again will the ATS skill data be transfered back when Rann takes hosting back or will it be back to 0 or will it revert to pre temp-host data??

Wouldn't really be fair to go on the ATS skills accumulated now and leave the original ATS scores at 0.

So hopefully they can be combined or something.

This is a problem obviously.
I suppose Raven will have to make a backup of the current Database folder and anyone who wants their Raven-ATS as opposed to their Rann-ATS (or vice versa) will have PM Raven or something.
There is no way to merge these files as far as I know.
But it is basically spreadsheets, so I suppose it is possible with either some software or to do it manually.

I would be willing to take a wipe of ATS skills when we get transported back to Rann's server if someone can and is willing to script in more Crafting Skill options, like Bow/Arrow crafting and any others? I do miss the old Enchanting pools and making pie back in the day but that was CNR scripts..
Any thoughts?? Volunteers... 

I have sent Raven the ATS database files, but I believe he is out of town. Once he loads those, all the old ATS points will be restored, and we can work with you as DMs to restore anything you've done between Raven taking over and now. There's no reason they can't be switched when I resume hosting, all Raven will have to do is send me back the file.

I don't mind doing ATS, crafting the day away to get skilled enough to be able to craft everything.
Yet to do it more than once with the same character is sort of overkill.
--maybe it's not so bad for easy ones like tailoring and tanning, but smelting and armor/weapon crafting (jewelry crafting...ugh) definitely takes time, especially if mules die loaded with the ore.

Okie dokie, I will be back from vacation Friday nite at the latest so I will get that all taken care of soon as I step foot in the door!

Hey i logged off for four days and logged on only to find that all my ATS have gone missing yet again, I was up to Shadow after restart and now back to square one.Hope we can make this right.

yeah it sesms that happend due to the ATS database replacing what was started since the server transfer. Let me know via PM what your ATS skill was at and I could fix it accordingly for those whom lost them.

The ATS skills should now be at what they were prior to the server being transferred over to myself.

Hey since this subject is listed ATS, what are the chance of us looking into updating/adding more ATS items? What is needed to make this happen. I've always heard that the system is rough to navigate and playing with it could cause more harm then good but come on...Moth your like the best scripter this game has seen I'm sure you can do something with it ? = )

If and help is needed I'm sure I can figure out how to do something lol
