Your Hacker Problem...

First i wasnt going to call it this, i was going to go for something on the lines of 'Dick players, and you!' i have a screen shot i just don't know how to upload it propperly =( but basicly i was running to go to the plains, i opend the first outer gate and weeeee i ran into what seems like an epic trap and it killed me outright, sure i only lost 16k gold and 1k xp, i don't care about that at all, the thing is that there is a player out there who planted that trap with the intention to grief someone, which in my eyes is very low and rather sad.

Then as someone was collecting my corpse somone killed him, which he then told me that the person who killed him was doing 400 damage each hit as a level 1 doing damage of all elements. I read through the forum for a similar topic but it seems you had a fix? well i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i think they have got round it =(

All i know is that his character name is Quell Marsh, he is still on the server now i'm just waiting for him to log off so i can get his account name for you guys.

yeah he got thral, his weapons did 40 damage from every element including divine, negative and all those lost around 160k gold and 8k xp :S really irratating

I thought we had this dealt with. Either the entry script is missing from this mod, or the hacker(s) has found a way to import items to an already running game.

Yeah, if a DM could come on and clean up his mess that would be great, by the looks there are still epic traps out on Summan Valley, i don't fancy running into one and getting out right killed again =(

Either he's using an old character we hadn't rebanned, or he got around the "fix". The latter isn't terribly unlikely, as we'd closed up only one possible loophole.

I have access to his characters now, so I'll take a look soon and see if I can figure out what precisely is going on.
