Rules Need to know

Ok here's my problem and i'm not going to dime any one out or post screenies but I want to know what the rules are about 1. Logging out to avoid death 2. killing effies ( and by killing effies I'm not talking just hanging out in ranz farm and waiting for effies I mean stumble upon effies out in the battle field) 3. logging in stronger chars to take vengence all of these questions are just for g-wizz and to get the rules out there.

I am not a DM here, so I can't tell you what will happend.
But I can tell you what I would do;

• 1.) This is cheating. Take x3 the amount of XP that the Player would have lost had he died. If the behaviour continues, ban the player.
  
• 2.) Anything or anyone on the battlefield is fair game as far as I am concerned. Red deading is boring IMO, but we can't have rules that give some Players so sort of "immunity" in PvP. That will just lead to exloits.
  
• 3.) This is, or at least was, very common. Hard to enforce and something that has to be judged from case to case.

and players who don't go out defending/assaulting.. shouldn't give their buffs to their allies and stay behind afk They should just afk without semi helping...

I don't have a problem with this. Back at Moth's Axfells were afk during assaults so I logged Rugnarie and Moradin (cleric) buffed her and tried to withstand cleaven raid.
True, I actually played both characters at the same time....
It was quite challenging to click with right hand and use the left on laptop's keyboard to cast spells -without- dying!

I think PVP would be a little different... when the city is getting raided horns go off people scream mass panic and chaos everywhere! lol but I'm talking more getting caught up in an area where you die just to log into your high char to get vengeance.

If you kill an enemy then the rest of his/her fort hears the horn and knows your position.

With that IC knowledge it stands to reason that one could RP logging on to a greater character to seek vengence.

I don't have a problem with coming back to get revenge, but logging before death in PvP is wrong.

3) I see nothing wrong with this. Presumably every cleaven gets 'news' of any axfel murdering their comrade. And they go out for vengeance. I say it's good if people go out looking for PvP.

As for buffing the defenders and then staying afk back in the fort, well that's not ideal, but I don't see how it should be against the rules. No one is actually mandated to PvP on this server that I know of. It follows that having a second account just for buffing should not be against the rules.

Metagaming is going to happen sadly. People can come up with plenty of ic-ish excuses as to how their character should magicly know where an ally died.
I recently and often metagame as Myra for corpse retrival because it would be boring and dull to stay in the fugue and it doesn't hurt to help save someone the cost of using the orb.

Yet perhaps the relogging to return to the death place of an alt should be insentive enough to avoid lingering near the corpses of any enemy you had just killed.

I guess I understand how that would be IC ish ... I think the fact it announces that so and so killed so and so Isn't really legit but anyone could say "I blew my horn before I died so everyone knew."
