Server Connection Issues

Anyone having odd connection problems on server? This issue started for me about two weeks back..
When I went on today (6:20PM Central Time) I get the following display.. See attached Pictures..
First open I see the server with crazy ping, not a high ping but a -1 ping??, then next screen is after page refresh and has it offline, when it is up?? It does this all the time and I have to use the direct connect and sometimes it still times out, Odd huh?? All the other servers in my history are unchanged, I'm getting bad lag spikes on Anphillia only, I'm at a loss on why my connection is so odd to just this server?? My all time favorit server is the one giving me problems.. figures..lol

If you have any thoughts on what to try let me know.. THX..

Looks to me like the server's either resetting or is having problems at those times - not particularly sure if it's anything your end specifically.

The sever was up when I did the screen shots, I can use the direct connect to get to server but sometimes using the direct connect option it gives me a timeout error.. sure is odd..

Hate to get into this but I think it has to do with the host, hostnoc.net does not have a good past as an ISP..
After I did a tracert and found out it was hostnoc.net I have my answer, doing network security for 10+ years I have seen this host pop up in the past.. Here is one area I dug up from my memory.

Just think the powers to be who are incharge of the hosting might want to review it, I for one have no problen kicking in a little to keep Anphillia up (Donation or help) and I think we have many more who might, could get a solid ISP host maybe??
I just dont think the connections will get any better on my end, I have to look at my firewall logs now to make sure its not some reputation filter issue..

I like this direction I have not thrown money into NWN for years so tossing some at ti now would be ok by me ...

Doesn't your tracrt show that the time outs are occurring at hop 4 and 5 which is well outside of burstnet territory?

Tracert was done from work.. the * just indicated that hop does not respond to ping requests.
The main choke point is the main virtual server vserver258.hostnoc.net just before going into the Anphillia v-server assigned IP, not going to get into the whole virtualization and load balancing but bandwidth will be pulled from one v-server to support others if needed unless it is set to a dedicated minimum level, the closer you are to Pennsylvania the quicker your connection will recover.
I'm not going to chase this anymore on my end, it is what it is, all the other NWN servers I play seem to be fine so I'll just deal with the lag on Anphillia for now...
If anyone other than me has had the same issue and found a way to resolve it, or if you can post general location and what ping you see in NWN and does it stay fairly even, please post..

It's been bad for me as well, sometimes it's unplayable but most of the time its half-decent. I'd also pitch in to get a better hosting package for the server.

Anyone else experiencing long term bad connection issues with the server while not having issues with others?

I don't know much about hosts and such but I am hoping a friends who does will respond with his 2 cents. I am not completely against moving our host I only have reservations regarding setup as I am unable to setup a remote linux server on my own.

Just an update..
I have not been on much, decided to fire up an Anphillia old school mod on my server and play a few others I have in the past (No lag at all !!) Still is only an issue on this server alone for me..
