I'm not sure what you're getting at.

I play a sorcerer. I use several items from Daron's.

If you're referring to the dearth of sorcerer-specific items, that's likely because they don't really need them.

what items form darons do u use?

Epic Gloves of Concentration, Cloak of Protection +6, Cloak of Resistance +6, Nymph Cloak +4, Ancient Vestment, Boots of Hardiness +4, Kit Band, Trapspringer's Mask, Ring of Evade, Ring of Resistance +4.

ok,so ur a auto still mage.

There is a staff at another shop that is pretty good.

You have even more options for slots as a pure mage - you only have to worry about getting 5 INT/CHA + 5 CON. No ac needed.

The rest can be saves / skills / dr / regen, whatever takes your fancy.

i like lots of spells rather than resists though ;p but yea i have bought nothing for my sorc i even wear a silver robe i got out a goblin cave still and i'm level 33. My barb though is very gear intensive spent like 5 million on him already...

just a guess but im guessing this mod was created during an era of sd and mage dominans.atleast thjat is what the items say.

Items are there to balance classes. Just because there aren't any DM noted pure mage items, doesn't mean they're worse than something that has a specific item.

Mages don't need anything more to be awesome.

SD's have plenty of stuff to find / buy.

It's worth noting here that casters are far less gear-dependent than melees.
