Really nooby spell DC question... Empty Really nooby spell DC question...

So I did calculations for implosion, and I just can't get the right number.....

nwn.wikia.com wrote:When a spell allows a saving throw, the DC is determined by the spell level, the caster's primary ability modifier (for the ability on which their spells are based), and the caster's feats, as follows:

DC = 10 + spell level + ability modifier + feat modifier.

So, having 50wisdom(->20wis mod) and epic spell focus and X Great Wisdom feats, the calculation should go like this:
DC = 10 + 9(spell lvl) + 20(wis mod) + 6(esf) + 10(MothDC) = 55

Why is my DC on implosion only 54? Is there some sort of cap or am I missing anything?

10 (Base) + 9 (Spell Level) + 6 (Epic Focus) + 6 (Moth DC) + 20 (Wisdom Modifier) = 51.

Base +3 for the implode spell -> 54

Base +3 is still there? Crazy.

Oh, it's like that...
Just read it on old forums that MothDC's maxed at +6.
Was always bad at Math.

Thanks!

Many of the spells here have random boosts/penalties to DC, I'm told. I don't know why or if it's staying, but someday I'll have them listed in the changes.

The +3 implosion DC has always been there, it's just a crazy Bioware thing.

Like the luck domain.

It's like sap, only more hidden away.

It's listed in the feat 2da, just un-selectable as a domain. Unless you make it selectable. Which would be cool.

The luck domain is "awesome". Bestow Curse and Sphere of Chaos FTW.

Blinding Speed lasts (Character Level + 20)*2. So 120 rounds at lvl 40.
