Cleric's Summons' buffs and so
I wanted to point out something and ask for your opinion...
Greater undead summon (Pale Dragonkin) buffs the caster more defensively and in my opinion more usefully than the Balor....
I kinda miss the buffs from the Epic summoned shadow...that guy cast mindblank and undead eternal foe instead of keen, which I found really really useful at times.
Long story short->higher lvl summon gives crappier buffs. Thoughts?
Also - Why regular Balor from Gate spell has vorpal sword and his epic pit cousin got the glowy spear? That would make that summon actually scary, not just another summon...
P.S. I remember somebody asking me if there was any progression for Epic Pit Balor with levels - There is not.

I remember that one of the undead summons had this problem too. One gave you a pretty decent AB boost, and then you'd level it up a bit and suddenly it didn't give you much of anything at all.
Annoying.
Will have to look at all these eventually.

Just a few observations from that sheet that I think could be looked at, maybe, to make the Death domain more attractive:
- The alignment of the balor means it can't be smited and that PfE won't protect from it (changing it won't improve the summon, but this just doesn't seem to make sense).
- Unholy Aura, which Blackguards get, take negative CHA into account so it's actually getting -2 to all saves for no apparent reason.
- Animal Domain gives some spells, but for a summon it's 100% useless.

Do the Moth domains work on no PCs?

the pale dragonkin is also the best buffer in the game... even the dragonflesh that comes after sucks bad compared to it.But I do not think moth payed alot of attention to his summons powers really. but he did do good taking away defense for offense and classic rpg trade.

I thought best buffer here is Epic Eternal Warrior from Epic Spell: Mummy Dust.
Maybe an option to ask the summon what kind of spells you want...If defensive or offensive.
