ATS Crafting
The existing ATS crafting, any way to list on the forums someplace what can all be crafted? Not sure how many craft items anymore but would be nice to know what could be crafted and maybe more will want to attempt it, unless the items are not worth the time when you can just go buy something better??
Just looking for a list for each ATS Skill that just would have item+item=Result (with stats)?
This is one other area down the road I wish could be worked on, some good PvP comes out of resource gathering when both groups bump into each other looking for the same things, what a mess it would be in Condors with both sides getting diamonds .

Point taken... No need for the list... More of what is the status of the ATS system. Could it be exspanded on? Does anyone even want to open the option down the road of exspanding it? I myself will do crafting to pass the time on a quiet night but it seems to be rare to bump into anyone in the crafting shops? Or even bump into anyone asking for anything, just was not sure if the need for crafted items was around? Well Axfell anyway..

I myself have never been a fan of ats crafting personally BUT not a lot of people know how to craft the extreme items either *cough scaldic cough* either way I would love to see expansion on the ats maybe have them be able to compete with the ever so easy to buy items . And on that note is there any way to make it harder to get to some of these shops ?

Let me put it this way:
- only useful things that you can get from crafting are +5 ability rings, few belts, two pairs of gloves, two pairs of boots, mithral fullplate/shield and one helmet.
If you are talking about special recipes, none of them are better than what you can buy/find. Sure, they are cool to have them at like level 10-20, but who wields underaverage items when you can have pwnsome items (everybody having mules as alts etc.)
As I see it, the only way to use special recipes is roleplay - you have a reason to go find special ingrediences for special recipes and also people who possess the knowledge of what you need to make things happen can RP obtaining an ancient parchment from a wasted dwarf where it says how to make a scythe that grimreapers wield...
First time for me being master crafter was like best of all the times at Moths/Gen/Exo/Continuum anphillias, because I had to figure it out on my own and had incredibly shitty equipment so even crafted one looked really awesome.
Moth tried poking into ATS recipes to make them better but from what I understood, the system is so messed up that basically we should be happy that it actually functions on the level as it is. (Don't ever quote me on that)

I recall Sancho managed to fix some ats issues, implementing kama's into weapon crafting.

So are there lore books, or items that give recipes to the special items in game? how else would the people who know have gotten the knowledge. I know there are books of recipes at the end of certain dungeons that rhyme with byron bold. Anph had gone from ATS to CNR at one point...

I see two ways:
1) You figure it out
2) Somebody tells you
For me, it was about 6 months of trial/error operations in blacksmiths.
Haven't figured out helmets yet.
